Implant Retained Dentures
Implant retained dentures work in a similar way to traditional dentures and can be used to replace a whole arch of teeth.
Where they differ, is that instead of being held in place via an adhesive – they are held in place via implants.
These implants are titanium screws designed to act as the new ‘root’ for the teeth.

Designed to replace a full arch of teeth in just one day.
All-On-Four/AI|-On-Six Same-Day Teeth are made up of either four or six titanium implants.
Placed into the jaw during the same appointment, and a set of prosthetic teeth sit on top of them.
This stable and secure replacement option is a great one for patients looking to replace multiple teeth at once.

Dr Morteza Mazinanian

Morteza Graduated from UCL with Honours in 2007.
He then went on to study Dentistry at a Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry, graduating in 20l1 with Honours.
Soon after graduation, Morteza went on to specialise in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, Graduating with distinction in 2017.
Morteza has a keen interest in education and teaching, which led on to him becoming a Senior Teaching Fellow at Eastman CPD & an Associate Clinical Lecturer at Eastman.
He has been and continues to be a Mentor and speaker at both local and international level.
In his spare time he likes to play sports, namely Football and Golf & is an avid follower of Formula 1.
But most of all he is a devoted father who likes to spend time with his 2 beautiful children whenever he can.

Assessment and Planning
At this appointment, the dentist will discuss all possible alternatives and will assess suitability for dental implant provision.
Along with other assessments, X-rays and 3D bone imaging will be done, if required.
A written treatment plan will follow detailing the cost and sequence of treatments.

Implant
Placement
Implant placement is a simple minor surgical procedure that is performed under sterile conditions.
Bone regeneration, if required, can be done at this stage or sometimes prior to this depending upon the individual requirements.
3.
Integration
or Rest Period
Implants can typically take two to six months to fuse with the bone.
During this time temporary teeth, which can be removable dentures or fixed teeth on implants or adjacent teeth can be worn as appropriate

Restoration
Once the bone has fused with the implants, the final restoration can be made as planned, ranging from a single fixed crown, small or full mouth fixed bridge or a
