Dr Morteza Mazinanian

Morteza Graduated from UCL with Honours in 2007. He then went on to study Dentistry at a Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry, graduating in 2011 with Honours. Soon after graduation, Morteza went on to specialise in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, Graduating with distinction in 2017.
Morteza has a keen interest in education and teaching, which led on to him becoming a Senior Teaching Fellow at Eastman CPD & an Associate Clinical Lecturer at Eastman. He has been and continues to be a Mentor and speaker at both local and international level.
In his spare time he likes to play sports, namely Football and Golf & is an avid follower of Formula 1. But most of all he is a devoted father who likes to spend time with his 2 beautiful children whenever he can.
Dr Mumtaz Awan

Mumtaz studied her first degrees at Birmingham University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science and a Masters in Biomaterials.
She went on to read dentistry at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry graduating in 2012. Mumtaz has worked in practices in the West Midlands & London and has Multiple years of clinical experience in cosmetic dentistry.
She has a passion for creating beautiful smiles and is the in-house Invisalign Provider. She also has a keen interest in Facial Aesthetics.
Whenever she gets spare time! She likes to bake and travel. Above all, she loves being a mum and spending time with her 2 beautiful children.
Dr Charan Nijhar

Charan is passionate about creating beautiful and confident smiles for her patients. Her caring and gentle persona creates a relaxing atmosphere and helps patients of all ages overcome their dental phobias.
She educates her patients about their gums and teeth in a digestible way and can provide advice on fluoride application for children, dental injuries, and mouth guards.
Charan qualified from Kings’ College London. She is keen to to achieve excellence in her field by learning the newest techniques and attends regular hands-on courses all over the UK. She completed a year long postgraduate course studying ‘Advanced operative aesthetic and restorative dentistry’ enabling her to deliver minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry to a high standard. Outside of dentistry, Charan is a mother to 3 young children. She is a passionate cook, baker, tea grower and fitness junkie.
Dr Jawaad Malik

Dr Malik is a knowledgeable, highly trained professional in perioperative anxiety management, anaesthesia and pain management – registered in Harley Street, London. He is a Fellow of the internationally-recognised Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetist (FFPMRCA) with over a decade of anaesthesia and sedation experience.
Dr Malik has trained in London, in world-renowned teaching hospitals including Moorfields Eye Hospital. Royal Marsden, Royal London, Royal Free, UCLH and St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. His special interests include perioperative anxiety management alongside dental sedation – with IACSD accreditation in Intravenous and Inhalational dental sedation. His skills in perioperative anxiety management help to improve both the patient’s journey and experience.
Dr Malik understands the importance of making you feel relaxed throughout the whole procedure.

Mrs Stephanie Bates

With over 30 years of experience in dentistry Stephanie started her career as a dental nurse in 1989. She then went on to complete her Certificate in Proficiency of Dental Hygiene, from the Institute of Dental Health and Training at RAF Halton, where she was accepted as a civilian.
She aims to treat all patients with care & gentleness whilst respecting and understanding their needs and concerns. Enjoying her job and finds it very rewarding. In an attempt to increase her knowledge and to support her continuing professional development.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, as well as socialising with friends, exercising and cooking.

Miss Hannah Shirley

Hannah joined the Dental Excellence team in August 2022, after working in other practice settings for over 12 years. She has been a fully qualified dental nurse since 2012, after gaining her NEBDN national diploma.
She loves to help patients feel at ease in the dental environment and has completed further training in Dental Sedation nursing. She also finds assisting with Dental Implants highly rewarding and has attended Implant workshops for Nurses, enhancing her supportive role to both the Dentist and patients.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys socialising with her close family and friends, country walks with her Cockapoo, and musical theatre.
Miss Liane Smith

Dental Nurse

Liane has been a dental nurse since leaving school in 2007. She qualified in 2010 with an NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing. She has been part of the Dental Excellence team for 5 years now and loves it. She is interested in all aspects of dentistry however really enjoys implants, and more complex treatments.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and also tries to travel as much as possible. She has managed to tick some of the locations off her bucket list!
